Following gloomy weather predictions earlier this week it's now looking like a more optimistic forecast ahead of tomorrow’s Manx Telecom Parish Walk.
It’s in stark contrast to last year’s event when heavy downpours lead to flood warnings at various parts of the 85 mile course.
Registration will be taking place again this evening at the NSC from 5.30pm, with the walk officially starting on the track tomorrow morning at 8am.
Race organiser Ray Cox says so far last minute preparations are running much more smoothly than this time last year:
