Messages of thanks for teachers and staff at Willaston school have been flooding social media after a bomb scare yesterday.
The primary school in Douglas was evacuated in the afternoon following a hoax call which prompted a full evacuation.
The children were taken to the Isle of Man college and parents were asked to pick them up.
One school mum said the situation was handled perfectly by "courageous" staff while another said police kept the children calm, safe and happy throughout.
The Manx government said the school will be open as normal this morning.
Isle of Man police said an investigation into the incident has been launched.
