The Positive Action Group says it’s committed to campaigning for a publicly elected Legislative Council.
Earlier this week a new batch of MLCs were voted in - with returning members Juan Turner and Tony Wild, West Douglas MHK Geoff Corkish and new face Michael Coleman taking up positions.
A meeting of the political lobby group next Monday will look at what’s next for the council and will see guest speaker Chris Thomas take to the floor.
He’s indicated he intends to stand in the upcoming by-election for Mr Corkish’s seat and told us more about what he’ll be discussing:

The meeting will take place at 7.45pm at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas.
