Coastal overtopping overnight has affected vehicles parked on Douglas Promenade.
Since the early hours of this morning Police, DOI staff and Coastguard teams have been at the scene and road closures in place in the area.
Authorities have been asking those with cars on Loch Promenade not to attempt to reach their vehicles at this time.
A yellow weather warning was in place overnight for coastal overtopping across the Island, a further warning remains in place right now for heavy rain until 10am.
