Just before 5PM yesterday the emergency services were called to a property in Ballakermeen Avenue where there was a fire in the lounge.

The fire was caused by a chair being left on a cable from overloaded multi plug adaptors, which caught fire.
Fire-fighters spent an hour and a half at the scene.
Nobody was injured.
