The Department of Health and Social Care says more than 7,000 people have signed up for an electronic service for doctor appointments.
The text reminder service sends out a message three days prior to a patient's appointment - confirming the time and date.
As of this year, 7,060 people use the service, as opposed to 5,788 last year.
The Island's medical director Dr Jugnu Mahajan says the service has reduced the number of missed appointments.
