So far just over £500,000 has been spent on the early stage planning for the proposed onshore windfarm at Earystane and Scard.
When completed the Government funded project will deliver up to 130 gigawatts of energy per year.
It's estimated it would deliver up to a third of the Island's yearly demand.
Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall said although they have an estimate of how much the entire project will cost, this could change as a result of the environmental impact assessment:
Ramsey Remembrance service to be marked by maroon rockets
MEDS phone line to be down temporarily
Committee to examine link between poverty and poor academic performance
Police advice for trick-or-treaters to stay safe
