Over £20million has already been spent on the future Liverpool ferry terminal project.
That's according to figures from Infrastructure Minister, Tim Baker MHK, after he was asked by Onchan MHK Julie Edge this week how much had been spent on the project per year since it was published in the Pink Book.
Of that total, just over £10.6million has gone towards the costs of construction since 2018/19 and just over £4.5million has been spent on design and professional fees and expenses since 2015/16.
Meanwhile, during the same time over £1.6million has been spent on site investigation and surveys; furniture and fittings and building regulation fees whilst £3.5million was forked out for land purchase in 2019/20.
