Manx Birdlife has plans to build an outdoor classroom at their nature reserve.
The nature charity has applied for permission for the canvas and wood shelter at the Point of Ayre.
It would be used for lessons with visiting school and youth groups.
There's also a separate planning application to install a composting toilet in a wooden outhouse.
