The Manx Emergency Doctor Service will open one hour earlier this week as doctors are trained.
GP training sessions will take place this Thursday and Friday.
MEDS will open at 5pm on Thursday to allow GPs to leave work and attend the training.
Manx Care says practices will remain open on Friday and appointment cancellations will be kept to a minimum.
