An organisation is on a mission to make local beaches wheelchair friendly.
'Disability Networks' has launched a 'Beach Wheelchair service' which is now available at 'Outdoors Ramsey' and the Cosy Nook in Port Erin - weather permitting!
The organisation says it's been made possible after winning a Celton Manx Recognition Award and with a helping hand from the Manx community.
The service is available during shop opening hours in Ramsey (shut on Sundays) and operates from 11am-sundown at the Cosy Nook, (usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) until the end of September.
You can book by calling 'Outdoors Ramsey' on 819082 or Port Erin Commissioners on 832298.
Disability Networks aims to provide a central point for Manx disability information to Inform, ease stress and empower by giving choices.
People can make a donation to Disability Networks via a collection box on the counter in the shop or donate online here.
