One side of the Promenade in Port St Mary will be closed to pedestrians for a year.
It's as Hartford Homes works on the redevelopment of the Bayqueen site.
The Department of Infrastructure says the path on the northern side will shut from the Promenade Back Lane to a house called Awin Mooar - parking will also be prohibited on both sides.
The closure will be in place from 6am on April 19, until April 1 next year.
