Onchan MHK Rob Callister has resigned from his position within the Department of Health and Social Care.
According to a statement issued by the Cabinet Office it is due to ‘personal reasons’.
He shared responsibilities for hospital services, public health and the drug and alcohol strategy.
Mr Callister says the decision was not an easy one to make:
