An MHK who says he's disappointed the Island won't get a referendum on assisted dying is holding his own - by asking constituents to contact him on social media.
Onchan member Rob Callister posted to Facebook, asking people to let him know if they supported or opposed the legislation which is currently going through Tynwald.
He's asking people to send him private messages saying "yes", "no" or "unsure" before the private members bill from Dr Alex Allinson gest its third reading in the House of Keys later this month.
Mr Callister says he'll check names against the Onchan voters list to make sure social media users are from his area, and says people outside Onchan should contact their own MHKs.
