Onchan commissioners say they'll object to plans for a temporary TT campsite on Blackberry Lane.
At a board meeting earlier this month, members considered the plans at Onchan AFC and Douglas High School Old Boys Clubhouse.
They opposed the proposals because there'd been no biodiversity study, and increased traffic, noise and disturbance at the site.
They also said the area would see over-intensive use because of an existing campsite on an adjacent field.
