Old Laxey Bridge will 'take months to rebuild'

Interim measures will ensure pedestrians can still cross the Old Laxey Bridge after it collapsed last week. 

Engineers have been on-site since the flood that caused a double-decker bus to fall into the river and become trapped. 
 
It has since been removed by the Department of Infrastructure - which has been looking for a temporary solution. 
 
Garff MHK Steve Rodan insists it'll be months before a new bridge can be constructed:
