The Old Breakwater in Port Erin has been closed to the public following damage caused by recent storms.
The storm damage resulted in a large cavity the size of a small car forming in the root of the breakwater - as part of the stone wall was destroyed and washed away.
Decking has been erected to stabilise the structure, although it's still considered dangerously unstable.
It's now fenced off and the public are reminded to heed the warning signs and not enter the closed area.
Department of Infrastructure engineers are investigating the damage, however, it's unclear at present how long the breakwater will remain closed.
