A man living in Namibia has applied to transform a former Douglas bank into apartments.
Bernie Hogel, who lives in Omaruru, has applied for planning permission to convert the former Isle of Man Bank branch on Prospect Terrace.
The branch closed down in 2015 as the company cut back on premises which were less well-used.
Mr Hogel says he wants to turn offices on the first floor of the building into apartments - the top two floors are already used as flats.
