OFT warns against new cold call scam

Local businesses are being warned to be vigilant as more cold call scams are reported.

Fraudsters are calling companies purporting to be from an advertising telesales service offering advertising space.

The Office of Fair Trading urges people to decline unsolicited calls and exchanging payment information over the phone.
