The Office of Fair Trading is warning people about the potential dangers of a brand of laptop batteries.
It's issued a safety notice over HP Notebook Computer Batteries which have the potential to overheat.
Models affected include Compaq, HP ProBook, HP ENVY, Compaq Presario, and HP Pavilion notebook computers.
The OFT says you can check whether your computer is affected on the HP website - and if it is you should stop using it and approach the company for a replacement.
