OFT Warn Public Over Fresh Phone Scam

Manx residents are being urged to be wary of fake text messages saying you've won money.

 

The Office of Fair Trading say they, and Manx Telecom, have received a considerable number of enquiries from members of the public who have been sent a text message saying they have won millions.

 

The OFT say this is a scam and not to give any out any personal financial details over the phone.
