The Island's Office of Fair Trading has confirmed it includes a further 21 models of Hotpoint and Indesit machines.
It's the third such announcement by owner Whirlpool in recent months, with 66 models now being recalled due to a fault with a door-locking system.
Whirlpool is reviewing all Hotpoint and Indesit washing machines sold between 2014 and 2018.
The OFT says owners of any of the machines listed should stop using them immediately, unplug and contact Whirlpool on 0800 316 1442.
Meanwhile, anyone affected will be provided with a free replacement by Whirlpool.
