Police say they're forensically examining a spray can found near offensive graffiti in the west of the Island.
Officers say the graffiti was sprayed near Glen Wyllin beach - and has caused great upset and distress.
Scene of crimes officers are examining the can to see if it holds clues to who was responsible.
If you have any information that could help the investigation, you can contact Peel police station or call 631212.
