Off-Island spend calculated by Economic Affairs

We now have a clearer idea of just how much money people spend off-Island.

More feedback from the Household Income and Expenditure Survey has been published.
 
It shows households currently spend 18% of their weekly expenditure on off-Island goods and services; spending on recreation and culture marked the biggest proportion of spend abroad.
 
The voluntary survey was run for a year and collected data from over 900 households.
