Jurby Commissioners say they've objected to plans to turn a bus shelter into a storage shed.
Lee Copeland of Snaefell View had applied to transform the shelter outside his house into a storage unit by bricking up windows.
On Facebook the board says it's imperative to have a bus shelter there to shield passengers from the elements.
And they add losing the shelter could potentially discourage bus users.
