The number of work permits given to people to work on the Isle of Man has fallen.
The Government's move tighten up on giving permits to certain sectors like retail, construction and office admin means more Manx people are filling positions therefore keeping unemployment levels down.
In the 12 months to the end of March 8,577 work permits were issues compared to 9,174 the year before.
The Government have cracked down on issuing work permits, and where they have issued them, it has been for shorter periods.
