The number of people handed fines for not displaying a road tax disc has halved over the space of a year.
Last year, 1,115 fixed penalty notices were issued for failing to display a valid vehicle licence.
That's a drop of around 51 percent compared to 2024, which saw 2,292 notices given out.
A total of 1,229 of those have been paid, and 233 cancelled with no further action.
