The Isle of Man could be in for a spectacular light show later, if the weather allows.
Extremely strong solar activity has been causing problems for communications satellites in recent days - but also means there's a very good chance of seeing the northern lights from Manx shores.
The best chance of seeing the phenomenon will be from 6pm tonight until around 6am tomorrow morning.
Only the weather might spoil the fun - with cloudy skies expected overnight.
