A commissioner from the North has become the next person to throw their hat into the ring for this year's general election.
Juan McGuinness has announced his intention to stand as a House of Keys candidate for Ramsey.
After serving on the board of Ramsey Commissioners for 10 years, he says he now wants to apply what he's learned in local government to the wider Island.
The Isle of Man will go to the polls for the general election on Thursday, September 24.
