A former infrastructure minister says there should be a fair way of paying for civic amenity sites across the Island.
Residents in the north now have to show identification like utility bills to use the northern site after Bride Commissioners decided to stop paying for it.
The Western Civic Amenity Site has issued a statement which says it won't take waste from people outside its catchment area to protect local residents.
Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas told Local Democracy Reporter Emma Draper the situation is daft:
