Sustainability is back on the agenda with the return of the Isle of Man’s UNESCO Biosphere Awards.
The scheme was suspended last year due to COVID-19 but nominations have opened once again.
There are categories for economy, education, energy, enjoyment and engagement.
The awards are designed to reward and promote initiatives that meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
The Manx government said the awards will be judged by a 12-strong panel and will take into account innovation and impact.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 20th August- more information can be found on the Manx government website.
