Garff could be going to the polls in May to elect two new commissioners.
Tim Kenyon and Stewart Clague both resigned from the board earlier this year over plans for sewage treatment works in the area.
Nominations for candidates have to be completed and returned by Wednesday, April 22.
If more than two candidates come forward, elections will be held on Thursday, May 21.
