The Health Minister will have to provide an update on progress at Noble’s Hospital at next month’s sitting of Tynwald.
David Anderson will make a statement after politicians voted in favour of an independent external audit of the health service.
It follows heavy criticism from clinicians at the hospital who raised concerns about patient safety – with claims it bared similarities to the scandal hit Mid-Staffordshire NHS Trust.
