There has been no further news from Flybe in light of the airline's decision to close its base at Ronaldsway.
The Chief Minister says it will be at least a fortnight before any more news is made public.
Allan Bell says he's not hopeful that Flybe will change its current stance which will see the loss of 50 local jobs.
Employees could be offered the chance to move to alternative posts across the UK.
