The government says no transgender prisoners have been jailed in Jurby over the last five years.
A Freedom of Information request wanted to know how many there are and whether they're incarcerated on wings for men or women.
In its response, the Department of Home Affairs said no inmates had identified as non-binary since 2021.
But it added staff are working on updated policies, and that work was still ongoing.
