The Chief Minister says there are no plans to legalise cannabis on the Isle of Man.
His comments come after the publication of the Chief Constable's annual report, which showed half an 11 per cent rise in crime was down to people possessing the Class B drug.
There have been a number of calls online for cannabis to be decriminalised on the Island, including an online petition.
