The government says a train that has previously ran for a local charity will not operate this year.
A freedom of information request asked if the Department of Infrastructure will continue to support the Christmas Child shoe box appeal charity and the use of departmental resources.
In response, the Department said the train will not operate this year as the charity has not requested it.
The Department also says the train is not anticipated to run again in the future.
