Chief Minister Alf Cannan says there's been no negotiation with the UK about taking immigrants, housing them in hotels or tracking them on the Island.
In the House of Keys this week, Arbory Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse quizzed him about people who'd applied for permanent residence in the UK.
He wanted to know about negotiations with the UK allowing them to spend time here.
But Mr Cannan said there have been so such talks:
Steam Packet sailings delayed tonight
PPE Medpro put into liquidation
Part of TT course closed tomorrow
Carl Cox backs cancer charity's TT fundraising auction
Business appeal over thousands in unpaid bills
Pharmacy plans for former IOM Bank
Appeal after wood from van damages car
Island part of union data breach investigation
