Mums-to-be in Peel won't be able to book antenatal appoints directly through the town's GP practice from next month.
On Facebook, the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit says expectant mums in the Sunset City will instead have to book midwife appointments through the community midwives office.
The changes will take effect from Monday, October 6.
You can contact the office by calling 650327.
There are no other changes other than the method of booking - patients will still be seen at the Western practice as normal, and midwives will still be running the weekly antenatal clinics clinic there.
