There are no plans for the Island's TV coverage to match the UK.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle was quizzed by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse in the House of Keys this week.
Mr Moorhouse wanted to know what plans the Chief Minister has for both digital TV and radio coverage to match what's available in the UK.
In response, the minister said digital content is a matter for broadcasters not government and there aren't any plans for broader coverage.
