 
                            Manx Utilities hasn't offered to compensate people over nearby wind turbines because the law won't let it.
So says MU chair John Wannenburgh, who faced questions about the issue in the House of Keys this week.
Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse asked about giving money to people within 1.2 miles of a planned windfarm at Earystane.
Mr Wannenburgh said the organisation was following UK best practice because there are no Manx laws:
