Poor weather and rough seas have been blamed for no basking shark sightings so far this year.
The Island has seen a drop in the number of sightings over the past two summers.
The Basking Shark Watch is still awaiting its first recorded sighting.
Eleanor Stone from the Manx Wildlife Trust says she’s stopped trying to predict how each season will pan out:
