A company that wanted to redevelop landmark building on North Quay in Douglas says it'll sell the building.
Kelman Limited is registered in Parliament Street in Ramsey, and owns the Newsons building on the quay.
It had applied to demolish the building and replace it with 10 apartments and three restaurants, but had the plans turned down.
Now, it says it'll put the site - in a conservation area - on the market, saying until planning laws are changed it won't invest in the Island.
