The Salvation Army's about to launch a weekly lunch club to fight loneliness and isolation around the Island.
Its first event will be held from 11.30am on Tuesday, January 27 at the charity's headquarters on Ballacottier Crescent at the Isle of Man Business Park.
Captain Rachael Nieuwoudt says it aims to encourage strangers to become friends.
The lunches cost £5 per person - the first session needs to be booked - you can contact the Salvation Army directly on 01624 627 742 or by emailing isleofman@salvationarmy.org.uk
