New wall to alleviate flooding problems

A new wall will be built in Onchan to try and help residents who are affected by flooding.

The local commissioners have agreed to pay for the barrier to stop problems in Ashley Park and Meadow Close.

They've also agreed to support planned works by the Manx Utilities Authority with the commissioners saying they want to protect their properties and resolve problems with tenants.
