Schools are getting new resources to teach children about the importance of Manx heritage and culture.
In conjunction with the Department of Education, Sport & Culture, Culture Vannin has created a series of teaching tools for those educating kids in keystages one and two to teach them about some of the historic traditions of the Island.
Each of the resources will focus on a different tradition and will include videos in both Manx and English, audio files, links and downloads with hopes it will act as a starting point for incorporating our customs into different subjects.
Culture Vannin's Online and Educational Resources Officer, James Franklin, says there's been 'an enormous revival' of interest in Isle of Man culture in recent years which has led to increased wellbeing for local communities.
