A new tax agreement between the Isle of Man and Qatar has come in to effect.
It tackles the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion.
The agreement was signed in May in Qatar between Treasury Minister Eddie Teare and Qatar’s director of public revenues and taxes.
The Qatar Embassy in London has now confirmed that the country has completed its own ratification procedures.
The agreement can be viewed on the Treasury’s website.
