If you ever wondered how Fistard Road in Port St Mary got its name, the Rushen Heritage Trust hopes to give you the answer.
It's funding new signs that will show names in English and Manx, as well as explain their history.
The joint initiative with Port St Mary Commissioners is launching with nine signs for routes in the area.
And the local authority says it'll keep putting up the new signs as old ones need replacing.
