A new remote GP service is being introduced at practices across the Island following a successful pilot scheme in Ramsey.
Patients at participating surgeries can be offered telephone consultations with qualified GPs when their condition can be dealt with remotely.
The service launched this week - with Peel, Kensington, Snaefell, Finch Hill and Palatine practices joining over the coming weeks.
Manx Care says patients will continue to contact their GP as usual to be assessed through the normal triage process, with face-to-face appointments still arranged where needed.
