Choosing skilled contractors to carry out tree felling and maintenance work will soon be much simpler.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is to publish a list of companies whose employees hold appropriate qualifications.
The scheme was introduced following complaints from the public about shoddy work, which is difficult and costly to fix.
DEFA will publish the list in the tree protection section of www.gov.im once companies begin to sign up.
